My name is Jason Stanoffsky and our gofundme projet is:
Wheelchair Accessibility for Jay & Guests with disabilities at the Jewel of the North.
Sadly, in December of 2006, I was in a Single vehicle roll over, resulting in a broken neck, Leaving me a Quadriplegic. Thankfully I have partial use of my arms, I am lucky enough to live in my own home in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada with my loyal and loving guide dog Harlem and my equally loyal, loving and compassionate care giver Margie. Unfortunately leaving my now, seventy year old father Roy Stanoffsky having to run the resort at Emma Lake, Saskatchewan for the last Nine years. My harshest realization was that our beloved resort I built for all to enjoy was inaccessible to me and any other persons with similar situation such as mine.

Shockingly after a great deal of research I came to realize that wheel chair accessibility for resorts such as mine, across western Canada are almost nonexistent. It’s important to understand that “wheelchair Accessible” is a relative term. Specifically improving the level of Accessibility will include; ceiling track mechanical hoist lifts above beds, Electric adjustable bed with Battery backup, wheel in showers, elevation lifts, Paved pathways to maneuver outdoors, etc.

We would like to get construction started Spring of 2016.Words cant express how much it will mean for the help we need to make the Jewel of the North truly accessible for everyone to enjoy!Type your paragraph here.
